In our latest podcast, our facilitator Dr Hymie Abd-Latif shares an inspiring story about one of his learners who incorporated new technology on his family farm.

Hymie is a Senior Lecturer in the College of Work-based Learning at Otago Polytechnic. He facilitates the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Level 7) and is a member of the Capable NZ Ethics Committee. 

Hymie has a Bachelor of Engineering, an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and a PhD in Engineering and has been teaching for more than 20 years.

He is actively conducting research into Wireless Body Area Networks, Assistive Technology and Engineering, and Education.
