Bachelor of Engineering Technology
Are you an experienced engineer technician and looking to take your career to the next level?
Gaining the Bachelor of Engineering Technology via Capable NZ will reflect your on-the-job learning in management, economics, communications, problem-solving and critical thinking. You will have a deep understanding of the principles and practical application of modern technology in your area of expertise - civil, mechanical or electrical engineering. The Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degree has provisional accreditation towards the Sydney Accord of the International Engineering Alliance from the Institution of Professional Engineers, which ensures it meets national and international standards.
Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil)
Recognise your skills and knowledge in structural, water and water waste, transportation, geotechnical and environmental engineering.
Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Mechanical)
Recognise your skills and knowledge in topics such as applied computational modelling, product design, quality and reliability, manufacturing processes and production, energy engineering and project management principles.
Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Electrical)
Recognise your skills and knowledge in power, electronic, computer, computer network, mechatronics and telecommunications.
Recognising your prior learning
Our world-leading services recognise your prior learning, measuring your existing knowledge and skills against formal qualifications, including certificates, diplomas and degrees. This is the fast track way for very experienced engineers (minimum of five years' experience is recommended) to complete a full qualification. Your study pathway will depend on your level of experience.
Work-based Learning (WBL)
Are you working as an engineering technician or consultant but would like to take your career to another level? If so, you could have your experience, knowledge and skills assessed through through an assessment of prior learning, and complete the remainder of the Bachelor of Engineering Technology through a work-based learning project that demonstrates your on-the-job learning.
